The revitalization of the Hirschen will create a place that goes far beyond the function of a tourist accommodation. Here, history is preserved: the listed central section is being completely renovated, while the new building reflects the tradition of hotel culture on Lake Thun in the 19th century.

Cultural engagement is deeply rooted in the DNA of the Laudinella Hotel Group. This tradition will continue in Gunten: regular cultural events are planned to foster exchange between guests and locals. Event spaces will further enrich the local community and create a vibrant meeting place for residents, contributing to the overall appeal of the town. ​

The Hirschen's year-round operation secures stable jobs in the region and also provides locals with access to special wellness offerings. Culinary variety is offered by a restaurant that consciously attracts outside guests as well, complemented by a garden snack bar for relaxed meals outdoors.
